How I did my cosplay

The mask, okay so I bought a blank mask, got some gutter wiring, 3 coat hangers, and duct tape. FIRST, I had to cut the mask to look like thresh. I used the gutter wiring to make a base for it to stay on my head basically. Then, I taped the hangers on to the head where the three bone prongy thingys are on threshes head. (here is the blog I followed to make this) http://frekki.wordpress.com/2013/04/07/thresh-mask/

I used paper clay and shaped it into place, after I finally got the coat hangers in place, this was a real pain and the clay helped a little. I waited a few days for that to dry, maybe about two days. Next, I glued so green cyophene to the hangers so it would look sort of like fire, cut out some bone shapes for the bone prong things out of this foam stuff i got from freds where the poster boards are. I painted the clay and the bones BEFORE gluing the bones on. then the mask is complete.

The lantern, I cut out the shape from card board, I suggest putting a wire circle through the top of the cardboard, so you can hold it at this point. used spray insulation and cut it to shape the best i could. I did paper machie with mixed flour and water in equal parts. I gave that about a day and a half to dry then used paper clay on it as well. Two days later I painted it.

While my lantern was drying, I made my weapon, I really really rushed it. I cut out card board the syith  and the bone chains, (I glued wires and hooked them up to form the chain just like on the blog I was following, I found out it is much easier to spray foam them first before hooking them all together, I spray foamed the weapon, cut it to shape, and used paper machie, and let that dry. Shorty after that was dry, I used a little clay to form some indentions, i didn't cover it in clay. I painted that as well and hooked it to the lantern.

I know I wasn't the best at explaining this, but that is because the blog I used has better detail to it. I followed all of the same steps. Her cosplay was in full, I plan on doing the whole thing for next year, but that's all I had time for this year. Happy cosplaying!

Original work Thresh x Sona by YoshiYukki

Alright, so in my first post I said I may post some pornographic things on here . >.> I drew this today and only took about 2-3 hours at most on it and I figured I would post it up. There isn't a lot of Thresh porn out there right now so I figured, why not?

I've been busy doing this: Thresh Cosplay

So here are the results. It's not the best, not the worst, I don't have time to make anything else for this years Momocon, however! Next year I am doing the full costume. I have a pair of tripp pants I'm wearing with this and a black button up shirt, I hope it will look decent. I'm going to write an entry of how I made all this in my next post. Tell me what you guys think!

Pictures of my cosplay thus far (please take into consideration this is my 2nd cosplay ever)

All feed back is welcome! If anyone has any suggestions or tips and tricks, feel free to leave a comment. If you were wondering what my first cosplay was, I went as Marci from Adventure Time, I don't have any pictures of my dressed up, but here's my ax guitar.
I got all my stuff from amazon, I bought a blank face mask, some paper clay, cliyphine (not sure how to spell it) and used some wires for the prong thingys. It's not done yet of course. I still have to add the bones and paint it as well as the lantern. The lantern was easy to make, cardboard base, some spray foam, paper machie, and more paper clay and here it is. I'm going to work on the weapon today or tomorrow.

Want do you want and some amazing cosplays.

Would you rather read posts about game play, advice, and opinions, or would you rather see cool pictures? Which do you prefer to see on this blog? I try to include both of course, but what is more important to you? Tell me what you think would make this blog better.
My cosplay pictures will be up shortly. I will try to talk about what I did in depth and explain the best I can. This is my first lengthy cosplay that I've done so it's not going to be perfect. I'm trying to do something like this:  http://frekki.wordpress.com/2013/04/07/thresh-mask/
I adore Thresh so I love seeing stuff like this, hence why I'm making my own Thresh. :3 I'm going to momocon with some friends and I'm sort of in a rush but I've got about 20 hours in so far, give or take. Anyways I'll show you some pictures of some thresh cosplays!

You and your ADC

Supporting is generally considered to be the role picked last. There are some people that love playing as a support and always plays as one, but it's common for people not to want to do it. Playing in bottom lane, you need to communicate properly with your partner. It's best to have a team of course, but not everyone has that option at their disposal.
Your job as a support is to ping for your lane, ward your lane, and defend your adc in laning phase. Your ADC is probably going to want you to help them get cs, not get cs yourself. Some ADC's don't even want you to hit minions. They are going to want you to ward and help them get gold as well as protect them in battles. It's a good idea to build things with active abilities that will help both you and your laning buddy survive.
Early game, I usually start off with a couple stealth wards, a couple health pots, and the coin for the talisman. This allows you to know where the enemies are in case of early ganks and now if they want to sneakily B in a bush as well as get gold slightly faster and heal yourself if needed.
Since I main Thresh, I usually get heal and flash as my summoner spells because he doesn't have a healing ability power, and flashing over walls can really help you out. If you build right, you can get away from most stuns.
A combination of flash, talisman, heal, and the box if needed, and you'll be just fine. Doing which first depends on the situation. Keep in mind, talisman can aid your friends to get away as well. Heal should be used first in this combo if you see your health dropping fast, such as in a 5 v 1, which is very hard to get out of.
Also, keep in mind that the ruby sight stone is a great idea to build. before that though still ward with stealth and vision wards. Don't just not ward! That's a big reason that you will get yelled at for.
Overall, if you get your adc kills, plenty of cs, lots of gold, and a nicely warded map, you will be doing excellent!

What I've learned from using AD Thresh

It seems like attack speed and a tanky build is a good way to go. I had a game recently where it was me vs ashe bottom lane and I won my lane. However the enemy team ganked a lot in order to try and fight me off. Early game I believe he should be played defensively. I had most farm in game until about 25 minutes in, that made me very happy. His combo can be powerful if used corrected. Using AD Thresh I try and build a bloodthister, then a warmog or frozen heart. Both if I think I really need to. It all depends on how the game is going. He is a much better support and if you build support and have AD runes and masteries, he works well too, for me at least. However, ADC Thresh is a no, unless the enemy team are just a bunch of noobs or trolls.
I think his combo works best if its done QRE. Land the Q, Trap them with R, and hit them for damage with E. If they are already half health, you should be able to kill them or at least make them recall if you're alone. Your R can also be used as a slow to stop enemies from chasing if you must. If anyone has any comments let me know. :) Picture time!

AD Thresh and a Few Pictures

Okay, so I thought I would be bold and try something challenging. I started building AD from the start and trying to get kills. Everyone on my team knew this and we were in a Skype call and they were assisting me on getting kills. The problem with this is that your ADC will KS you. Over and over again, not even trying to. AD Thresh is generally a bad idea, I know. I just wanted to see what happened.
I ended up trying this again, and I did very poorly. One game I went like 14/15/18 or something like that. The last time I went 0/8/3. It probably depends on who you're playing and how much skill they have. I've decided to save myself some frustration and stick to supporting. I would consider myself an average player, when it comes to league so maybe if I learned more and got better at supporting, I could try building a little bit of AD on him. If anyone has comments on advice on how to make this work, or how I should just give up, please let me know. Negative and positive remarks are welcome. <3 Now, here are some more pictures you guys. :3 (And, as before, none of these pictures are my work. I will tell you guys if I post anything that I have personally made. I am working on a cosplay of thresh and pictures will be posted of my progress within the next few weeks hopefully sooner.)
Do you guys think more characters should be turned into a super hero? Any Ideas?

About being a support

So I wanted to write a little bit on what I think about playing a support. Everyone that plays league should know the most common way to play is have a tank top lane, usually ap mid lane, a jungler, adc and support bottom lane. Sometimes we run across a double top lane and no jungle and sometimes, mainly in solo queue, we get people who auto lock or just simply want to try something different. I've had games where I have to change my build and go top lane due to people that do these things. I main Thresh, he's all I've been playing lately and I have to say he can play in other lanes. He's always going to be best at support though of course. I've tried him adc, but I have to play extremely safe and usually I only do that for the challenge or if I have no choice. I've had to solo bottom lane with him as well, it's all about how you play and how your team plays.
Being a support comes with it's own problems just like any lane does, the main thing I have an issue with is my adc because they directly effect how well I do. If I have a good adc that plays well and doesn't leave me on my own early game, I do good for the most part. Thresh isn't the easiest champion in the world, but support is generally considered a harder role to take on. You have to help someone else get better and focus more on leveling up and getting someone else those last hits and avoid getting kills while still contributing to do damage or sometimes taking damage and even getting killed in team fights if its for the greater good of the team.
Over all, I enjoy being a support which some people don't. I'm all about team work and helping out as long as I get my assists in. The more assists the better of course. With Thresh specifically, I sometimes get carried away and over extend for the sake of collecting souls, that's something you have to be careful of, you don't want to end up feeding. League involves a lot of strategy and you have to do a lot of thinking about the what ifs and know when to play safe and when to play more agro. There's so much to consider and being a support you need to be pinging for your lane and warding on top of helping out in fights. Know when and where to ward, when to protect and when to hit the enemy. In the end it's all about team work anyways and clicking the fucking lantern >.>

First Post!

So I've had a tiny obsession with thresh and I want to know if others share my interests :3 <3 Now I shall spam pictures ;D (Just a warning, there may be some adult content added to this blog >.>.) Also none of this content is mine, I haven't drawn or made any of these. I plan on doing some drawings though :3 I've got some fan art ideas, I'll let you guys know when I have some of my own stuffs.
